John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb), a global leader in research and education, recently concluded the 2nd annual Wiley Global Innovation Conclave in Bengaluru. The event congregated digitally determined leaders and industry experts under one roof to deliberate on the challenges faced by leaders and digitally distraught organisations, and shape up potential strategies and solutions to the issues at hand.

More than 50% of organizations today struggle with implementation of an exponential digital transformation strategy around talent, culture, change, financial goals and integrated business and technology strategy (IDC Research). The event brought together over 200 participants from Academia and Industry, bespoke speakers and digitally determined leaders and representatives from well-known organisations such as Wells Fargo and Company, Western Digital India, Accenture Ventures, Cleartrip, Bigbasket, to shed insight into a successful transition strategy.

The recent reports have also suggested that more than 40% of hiring is expected to be for talent with less than 5 years of experience. This demographic will be the core driver for on ground implementation of an exponential digital transformation strategy to address growing complexities for successful transition to Industry and Enterprise 4.0.

Apart from key discussion and addresses from the Wiley Global and India leadership, Wiley also launched ‘Wiley Innovation Black Book 2020’, in the presence of the 23 authors for the 2020 edition and Wiley Innovation Advisory Council (WIAC) members.

WileyNXT also announced partnerships with leading Institutes including Jain University, SA Engineering College, Lovely Professional University Group of Schools, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, KL University, Er.Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering, DRK Group of Institutions, SV Group of Institutions, Sri Indu College and St.Joseph’s College.

The WileyNXT also announced the launch of Wiley ‘TechitLikeher’ Scholarship, for 100 underprivileged girl students from its partner institutes/colleges across India.

The eventful evening was ceremoniously concluded with a networking dinner.
