The year 2020 has been a tough one and adjusting to
the new normal has encouraged brands to explore new ways of launching products,
especially smartphone brands. Here is a list of some exciting upcoming launches
that will surely grab the viewers attention in September.
OPPO F17 Pro
Oppo F17 Pro is set to launch in India on September 2. The launch of
the Oppo F17 series will take place virtually through the company's social
media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube starting at 7pm on
September 2, as per the official invite. OPPO is launching their new product
series through its first ever online music launch with Bollywood singing
sensations Raftaar & Hardy Sandhu.
Redmi 9A
Xiaomi's Redmi India Twitter has officially announced that the Redmi 9A is
launching in India
next Wednesday, September 2. The tweet also mentions ‘Desh ka smartphone’ will
go on sale from September 4.
Realme 7 Series
Among the first of the handsets to land in India early next month include two
of the most awaited devices from Realme. We are, of course, talking about the
Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. Both these handsets will be officially launched in India on
September 3. Realme India
has already set out invites for the online launch event, which will be
live-streamed at 12:30 p.m on September 3. As you might have already guessed by
now, the Realme 7 series will be positioned as the successors to the existing
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro devices currently sold in India.
Samsung Galaxy M51
Samsung has been doing quite well
in India
thanks to its revamped lineup of M-series handsets of late. Like other brands,
Samsung has also had a busy 2020 with several launches recently. The company is
expected to renew its focus on the M-series with the launch of a new M-series
handset next month. This new handset has been rumored for a long time now and
is known as the Samsung Galaxy M51. As evident from its naming scheme, this
phone will be positioned above the company’s existing M-series portfolio that includes
the Galaxy M21 and the just-launched Samsung Galaxy M31s.
Samsung GalaxyZ fold 2 Unpacked event
Samsung held its second major ‘Unpacked
2020’ event earlier this month. Here, it launched five new devices including
the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Looks like Samsung isn’t satisfied with that event and
wants to hold another Unpacked event only for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. ‘Unpacked
Part 2’ will take place on September 1, and yes it will be a virtual event.
Samsung’s invite for the event says that it will “explore in depth the
groundbreaking features of the Galaxy Z Fold2 Event.” Samsung has already
launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2 but it hasn’t revealed the pricing and
availability details yet. This event will most likely be for that and other
shenanigans of the foldable phone.
