Today Reebok announces the official release
of its collection with contemporary menswear designer Angus Chiang. The line,
comprised of three colorways of the Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 2, was initially
revealed during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
The
Angus Chiang designed Reebok Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 2 is heavily inspired by
the first- generation digital era. Drawing from the standardized RGB pallet,
the footwear styles are a quintessential merger of loud Reebok designs and
Angus’s bold color blockings, which are a key pillar of his work. Further
playing with the idea of clashing harmonization, the materials used, such as corduroy,
leather and canvas, make for an elevated look and feel that comes together
despite the different components used.
The
Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 2 is a luxe spin on Reebok’s innovative original Zig
Kinetica. In addition to the fashion-forward silhouette, the sneaker contains
revolutionary cushioning to propel you forward with springy responsiveness. The
Angus Chiang designed Reebok Zig Kinetica Concept Type_2 will come in three
colorways: white/vector red/black, bottle green/white/bright yellow, pigment
purple/bright yellow/black
The Reebok x Angus Chiang collection will be available online beginning 9th October, in unisex sizing, exclusively at www.shop4reebok.com for INR 12,999.
