IamHere is a hyperlocal community platform for collaboration and commerce. Through a location-first social network, IamHere is changing the way people connect nearby for hobby, business and social commerce.
While technology today does a good job of connecting us with people across the globe, it ironically falls short of connecting us with people near us, in our neighbourhoods and communities where we spend 70% of our lives. IamHere is working with a vision to digitize neighbourhoods and bridging the gap between the virtual digital world and the real physical world.

Art, Travel, Photography, Music, Business, Food, Sports, Fitness - the platform beautifully combines the power of location intelligence and social networks.
Today, neighbourhood and community interactions are unstructured and informal – there are multiple chat groups, newspaper slip-ins, paper inserts, noticeboards, emails, yet we struggle to know who is nearby and what is happening nearby. IamHere provides “location as a platform” for people to discover each other, to share about their hobbies, to ask questions, to buy and sell, to host events, or to even post jobs.
HOW IS IAMHERE DIFFERENT
IamHere is the only location-based social platform that offers ublic and private networks together, along with map-based discovery of people. What it means is that, on IamHere you can connect with someone next door in your apartment, or with someone next street in your neighbourhood. You can even use IamHere as a private social network within your office or college community and discover and collaborate with colleagues at office or alumni near you.
RECOGNITIONS GALORE
Incubated at NASSCOM and founded by a stellar team of alumni from BITS Pilani and ISB Hyderabad with business and technology experiences in Cisco, Schneider Electric, Samsung and Citigroup, IamHere is now 300K users and heading to 1M users by this year end. IamHere recently won the Government of India’s Aatmanirbhar app challenge for community collaboration. IamHere also won the Government of Karnataka’s ELEVATE grants.
IamHere has been recognized by Economic Times, AsiaOne and Financial Express. IamHere is even working with the Government on some initiatives to bring the bottom of the pyramid businesses on to mainstream search and transactions. IamHere has had a great journey so far, but the roadmap is even more exciting.
ROADMAP AHEAD
IamHere is augmenting the platform with videos soon. IamHere is rolling out a full-fledged marketplace through which businesses can build their digital store on the platform and users can transact and order. IamHere is even looking to tie up with delivery companies for users who want to opt for delivery. This marketplace will extend to events where the booking can happen through the platform.
While the AI algorithms are constantly studying user interactions and improving the relevance of the recommendations, IamHere is constantly working with partners to bring the best deals, events, and happenings near you. While IamHere will be looking for a global launch in the coming years, the company is firmly rooted in solving the problem for India first. IamHere is now live in 10+ cities across the country and will be expanding to 20 more next year and 200 more in the next five years. In order to enable expansion into Tier 2 and 3 cities, the app will be available in regional languages as well. The team is really excited and motivated and is looking forward to building better neighbourhoods for all of us!
