OnePlus, the global technology brand has emerged as the market leader in the Indian premium smartphone segment with 34% of the market share, as per Counterpoint Research India Smartphone Tracker Q2 2021. Additionally, OnePlus emerged as the 5G leader in the premium 5G smartphone market segment with an incredible 48% share in India.
The brand’s success is reflective of its commitment to consistently raise the bar on its flagship line-up, while addressing the diverse user needs that have emerged in recent years. Launched in March 2021, the OnePlus 9 series - OnePlus 9, 9 Pro and the 9R have garnered highly positive response in the India market which contributed to more than 200% YoY growth for OnePlus in Q2 2021.
During the period, the OnePlus
9R emerged as the best-selling device in the India premium 5G smartphone market
(INR>30K) with a 25% market share, followed by the OnePlus 9
and OnePlus 9 Pro - thereby capturing
the top three spots in the segment. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9
Pro also emerged among the top
three best-selling smartphone devices in the ultra-premium
(INR >45K) smartphone segment.

200% YoY growth globally in Q2 2021 basis Counterpoint's
Global Market Pulse Tracker. OnePlus also witnessed strong growth numbers in
the United States
as the fastest growing OEM
recording 428% YoY growth in H1 2021. During this period, the
