KRAFTON, Inc. Unveils BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA Esports 2022 Roadmap for India

 

 

 

• 4 major tournaments and prize pool of INR 6 crore announced

 

• Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1 and Season 2 will give away prize money of INR 2 crore each making it the largest prize pool for a single esports events in India

 

 

 

 

 

KRAFTON, Inc., the South Korean video game company, and maker of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) today unveiled its Esports 2022 Roadmap in India. The roadmap for BGMI in 2022 features four exhilarating tournaments, cash prizes of INR 4crores, mega prizes, and a host of nation and international opportunities for sporting gamers to make a mark for themselves.

 

 

 

Beginning with a Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC), KRAFTON Inc. will hold a total of four esports tournaments for BGMI in 2022. In 2021, BGMI recorded over 600k + registrations, 200M+ views and witnessed 493k + peak concurrent viewership.

 

 

 

After its outstanding run last year, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) is here to up the stakes.

 

 

 

In 2022, BGMI will see four major tournaments, namely:

 

 

·  BMOC - Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge

 

·  BMPS - Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1

 

·  BMIS - Battlegrounds Mobile India Series

 

·  BMPS - Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 2

 

 

 

Having set the stage for epic championships in 2022, registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC) kick off at the end of February 2022 itself with in-game qualifiers being held at the end of March. A prize pool of INR 2 crore has been announced for Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1 and Season 2 each which will be followed by Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. The prize money of INR 2 crore will be the largest prize pool for a single esports event in India.
