The community-focused network successfully commissions EV charging stations across the premier institution's office and residential premises.
Rebolt, a community-focused electric vehicle (EV) charging network, has partnered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to create a charging infrastructure in Bengaluru. The company has successfully installed over 18 charging points throughout all residential staff quarters and the main office of the RBI
The initiative aims to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles among RBI employees by providing convenient and reliable charging access within both residential and workplace campuses by providing chargers suitable for both two- and four-wheelers. As an end-to-end project, Rebolt executed both the supply and installation of the EV charging stations and will handle all ongoing services, maintenance and management of the stations.
The new charging stations will use the company’s proprietary IoT-enabled smart charging devices, directly integrating with the company’s mobile app. This allows users to easily find charging stations, monitor charging sessions in real time, and automatically pay for their charging. This implementation is fully in line with Rebolt's primary objective of developing dependable and technological infrastructure in the exact locations where users live, work and travel.
Through Rebolt's initiative, RBI Bengaluru is joining many of the leading government and corporate organisations across India in the adoption of EV-ready recharging infrastructure. By adding intelligent charging points directly in communal areas, Rebolt is working to develop the electric mobility framework further and support India's national goals of cleaner transportation.
Sunil Prabhakar, Co-Founder, Rebolt, stated about the RBI partnership, "Proactive efforts from premier government institutions such as the RBI play a very important role in accelerating India’s transition to sustainable mobility. We are very proud to partner with RBI, Bengaluru in its endeavour and bring reliable EV charging infrastructure to all its residential and office facilities in the city."
The RBI partnership represents a significant milestone for Rebolt's continued expansion. With over 700 EV chargers in its network spread across 230+ locations, the company is now a leading provider of EV charging solutions. Rebolt currently has deployed community EV charging stations in more than 140 premium apartment complexes, and over 80 hotels and resorts located in tourist destinations in South India.
