Humans are social
creatures and need each other to survive, grow and develop too. But the recent
challenging times have made us realize that our seniors, especially those who
are living separately to their children, are facing multiple hassles in day to
day life even with the simplest of chores.
Since most of them do
not have familiarity with technology they face challenges with simple things
like ordering things online, netbanking, transportation etc, which makes things
even more difficult for them.
India Assist researched
and found that there is a huge existing gap when it comes to credible and
verified assistance services for our seniors. India Assist is using technology
to bring SOS assistance and help in many forms, including on-ground personnel,
via a phone-app in Delhi-NCR specifically and Is soon expanding pan India. They
have an operational vertical in the space of travel, which has been doing some
commendable work during COVID-19 lockdowns helping travellers that were stuck
in India.
The huge humanitarian
crisis during the COVID Lockdown brought home the fact our senior citizens are
extremely vulnerable. This made the Co-founders of India Assist work actively
towards finding a solution. And this led to the creation of a new vertical,
INDIA ASSIST-SENIORS.
This service will come
as huge relief for children who live away from their elderly parents as they
can rest assured that someone will be available 24X7 at a simple click of a
button for their dear ones. This is a sincere attempt to make technology
inclusive for our senior citizens who often get lost and confused due to the
many variations in mobile app usage. The India Assist app is simple and seniors
can use it as per their convenience. India Assist will even send personnel to
help subscribers set up the application on their phones and teach them how to
use it, if needed.
Based on a simple
subscription model, the following services will be provided to cover both HAPPY
needs & CRISIS management.
- Emergency Services including Medical,
Theft, Loss, Altercation or any urgent/critical requirement
- On-Ground Personnel service, whenever
& wherever they want
- Concierge & Happy Services, which
means support in cab booking, Dine out, the celebration of anniversaries
and birthdays, shopping, banking, etc.
- Compulsory India Assist’s Doctor visit at
home once in a month
- 24x7 Helpline

huge gap for assistance in our society but this gap is never been this big for
our senior citizens when Covid-19 hit us. In the new launch we have created
specific services dedicated to them without hindering safety measures. We have
a firm set of norms and standard operating procedures to choose the right
manpower, we have personally trained each and every staff member to make them
ready for seniors and they are supervised by experts in different fields like
Technology, Psychiatry, Communication and other necessary fields. Initially
this service is available in Delhi NCR and soon we will expand to more
