Dimensions of VivoBook 14 are: Height 17.9mm, Width is 324.9mm, Depth is 215mm and its weight is 1.4kg, which feels not so bulky and this ultraportable notebook provides you ease to carry it comfortably wherever you go. Only one thing is important to keep in mind that, with 45% NTSC color gamut this display is not a good option for content creators those, who needs color accuracy for perfection of their work.

For software support it comes with Windows 10 Home edition with lifetime validity including Pre-Installed MS Office Home and Student 2019 it could be activated by logging in with your Microsoft ID. I also got several Windows Updates after logging in after activation. This VivoBook has MyASUS feature in it which is linked with all ASUS Softwares Customer Support, System Optimization & Maintenance, Apps and Productivity Tools etc.

For powerful Graphics it also packs Integrated Intel UHD 620 Graphics to provide graphical support.

For better sound support it equips Harman Kardon certified built-in mic & surround sound speakers that provides no distortion sound experience. Audio can be optimized by using ASUS Audio Wizard feature with the four given presets and one more manual option is there for Pro. ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound Speakers are placed on downside of the notebook, so we felt some sound loudness issues when we were using it by placing it on our Bed. We feel like speaker quality is an average.

Its soft smooth touch supporting backlit keyboard provides you comfort to work easily even in the dark conditions. We cansetFingerprint given on its responsive TrackPad, below the Keypad is super smooth that enables one touch login easy for you without entering your password again and again. In the hardware settings ASUS has given a new Wifi roaming optimization function, which helps to detect this notebook best wireless connection to work without any disturbance. Ports given on the left side of the notebook are 1 x DC-IN, 1 x HDMI, 1 x USB Type A 3.2Gen, 1 x USB Type C 3.2Gen including one 3.5mm Audio Combo Jack and on the Right side of the notebook 2 ports of USB 2.0 Type A, One microSD Card Slot. Power charging LED indicator light is also given on the right.  It Packs 42Wh 3-cells lithium-polymer batter which is supported by 45W power adaptor given inside the box.  Input power is 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz universal and Output is 19V DC, 2.37A, 45W. We were able to charge this notebook battery from zero to 100% in just 1000min. with the given charger.

We tested this VivoBook for almost one month and we never feel any issue for multitasking and listening music on the same time. We opened 10-12 tabs on the same time and we also opened two three browsers like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Opera simultaneously with 5-6 tabs each and that worked fine. Although its not a gaming notebook and has not dedicated graphics, we tested this NoteBook for gaming and we can’t say it’s perfect for gaming but we experienced some satisfactory results on it. As speakers are placed below in this notebook so it restricts the loudness and clarity of the sound. Sometimes frames starts lagging when it goes to high graphics. Battery is chargeable in 1hr and 40min. upto 100% and it makes your laptop run for around 4hrs. with mix moderate usage and when tested with half an hour of gaming with full sound and full brightness it drained around 25% of the whole.  Only issues we found ASUS need to improve are, its Battery Life and Its Speaker Quality, speakers may be shifted from below to some other places like on front panel or on the sides of its body.

And at last we would say this laptop fulfils your daily office needs, working on Word Excel Power Point or some other office use softwares, or for your work from home options during this Pandemic, to attend online meetings and Seminars. It can be a perfect partner for the school going children, for their online classes. But you may go for other options available in the market, if you are a Pro-Gamer, Content Creator or you are Picture or Video Editor.
