50% of women are not excited about meeting their
mutual matches during the pandemic
QuackQuack a
leading dating app, today announced that they have been witnessing a 30% surge
in their women user base across
The platform has been
experiencing an 80% surge in their user base and a 20% hike in their revenues
since the lockdown. The dating app recently reached over 10 million Indian
users and their cost per user acquisition has also come down by 20-30%.
The platform witnessed
the surge in women users all across the country with Delhi NCR being the most
active with 9.98% women users, Mumbai with 6%,
The new women user
base also saw their active participation on the dating app as on average a
female user logins 26 times a day into their profile when compared to 20 times
in a day by men. It has also been noticed that female users from
QuackQuack also
conducted a survey across 2000 of their newly joined users and found out that
Chivalry still exists among the millennial crowd as to the question ‘Who should
pay on the first date?’, a majority 73% of women want to split the bill on the
first date, while 60% men don’t mind paying the bill on their first date
showing the courteous gesture each wants to extend on a first date.
Also, it was
interestingly found out that women on QuackQuack are being extra cautious as
about 50% of them are not excited about meeting their mutual matches during the
pandemic. Men on the other hand are willing to take the risk as 42% of them are
willing to meet their counterparts if they agree to do so. Mutually about 30%
of the couples are interested in growing their relationship over online chats
& calls and will wait for the pandemic to mellow down for their first
meeting to take place.
