Television
is a big source of entertainment that plays a vital role in our life as it’s a
most effective medium of entertainment and communication. Its going more and more smarter than its
previous versions. Hybrid to solid state, analogue to digital, CRT to LCD, LED
and now QLED it changed with the time and technology advancement. And now using
internet, AI technology and Android Apps and Android OS, it starts working as a
smart device that’s going more and more smart day by day with 4K to 8K picture
big screen resolution and improving screen refresh rate and frames per seconds.

my home we are using LLOYD’s 32” Full HD normal LED for last 4-5yrs. for
watching news, movies, music, serials and all.
Last month I got an opportunity to test a 55 inches television from TCL,
a well known global TV brand which it’s a 4K QLED AI technology based android
smart television with Quantum Dot display. Its Model No. is TCL 55 C715. And it’s a great
experience to me and my family members to watch this big screen tv, in other
words, we can say its not just a TV but it provides you theatre at your home experience.
So lets start with the review.
First
of all, we let you know about the items given inside, when unboxed the TV box.
We got 1- Sharp Premium looking QLED TV Panel with less bezels, 1-IR-Bluetooth Smart
Remote with Google Assistant and dedicated hotkeys, 3-AAA Batteries, 1-Wall
Mount Bracket, 1-Table Top Stand, 1-Detacheble Power Cord, 1-User Manual and
1-Warranty Card.
We
unboxed the TV & installed it with the help of TCL Engineer. You have two choices
while you install the TV, first you can chose to install it on the table with
its table top stand or you can chose to install it on the wall with its wall
mount bracket given inside the box. We chose to install it on the wall. After
its proper installation TCL Engineer briefly introduced us to its feature and
functions so that we can use it easily. Now the TV is on, it boots up just like
an android smartphone showing TCL logo and Android sign. And its response time
was just 6.5milli-seconds. After booting It detected my personal wifi network system
automatically and when we paired it with the wifi and configure it by selecting
the region and choosing the language options, system time got updated automatically.
TCL provides you multiple Indian languages support inside this TV set. You can
customize it through different settings given inside the system settings menu according
to your choice such as screen resolution 4:3 or 16:9 and system update options
are also given inside it for software updation.
This
55” QLED comes in ultra-slim, premium
looks and its less bezel design
provides it a decent looks. For online
entertainment, it comes with many preinstalled
apps and many other links are given to online apps so that we can download
such as AmazonPrime, ErosNow, Netflix, ShemarooMe, Zee5, MXPlayer TV, Jio Saavn,
Jio Cinema, Hungama Play, Hotstar, Disney Hotstar, YuppTV, viu & voot
etc. It also includes links to many of
the latest Games that can be downloaded from Google Playstore to play. It
supports 5000+ apps and it works on Android Pie v9.0 Operating System. TCL
C715 having 2GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage memory. It requires to sign in to
your Google account before you download apps and games from Google play store. It does support to work with Alexa for voice
command.
TCL
55 C715 comes with smart features like Built-in-Wifi, Amazon Prime Video, 4K
Android Support+ HDR 10, Handsfree Voice Control, AI-Google Assistant, Screen
Cast+T-cast. As I said that my family
watching was 32inches normal TV and when we experienced this 55 inches big
screen for the first time we were amazed to see it and we felt like watching

connectivity, it has 3HDMI ports, 2
USB ports, 1 LAN port, 1 Antenna Cable port, 1 Digital Audio Output (Optical)
port, 1 AV-IN port and one 3.5mm Audio Jack on back panel, one manual On/ Off
button is also given on the backside. In the middle of its front frame, just
below the screen TCL branding is there and a Power Notification LED is also
seen just below the TCL branding. With all these powerful hardware and software
specifications it looks like not just a television but it performs like a
theatre.
When
it comes to my home on the first day all my family members were much excited.
And we all were amazed to experience its Quantum
Dot 4K Ultra HD Big Screen with theatrical bombastic stereophonic surround
sound for the first time, Coz we were habitual of watching a normal 32inches TV,
it was a great experience for my family. On that day the most excited member of
my family was my 7yr. son, who never experienced such a big screen
entertainment. He loves to watch his favorite Cartoons serials on its big

that my 7yr. baby have learnt operate it independently, in just two three days.

taste. We were able to watch even 8K videos on its 4K display, on Youtube which
means it can play 8K videos on its 4K
screen. It is not just a television but it’s more that a TV. Its a big source of entertainment, you can connect it to your Digital Cameras,
Camcorders you can also pair it with
your Smartphone, Tablets or your Laptops & Notebooks.
For
watching Cable TV channels it can be connected with SetTop Box and for
unlimited and uninterrupted entertainment, you can connect it with your wifi to watch web-series or movies online by paying subscription amount to available
online channels like AmazonPrime, ShemarooMe, Netflix, SonyLiv, Zee5 or Erosnow
etc. As we all know, IPL Season is on
and in the IPL season it makes me to feel like watching Cricket live in a
stadium itself. It’s a great experience for me and my family members to have
this big theatre screen at home. We can pair it with our Bluetooth devices for
example we can pair our bluetooth headphones, earbuds or neckbands to watch movies
or TV shows in late night hours when other family members are sleeping, so that
they don’t get disturbed.
Its
IR Bluetooth Voice Assisted Smart and trendy Remote helps you a lot, it
supports Google Assistant as well. It has one touch dedicated keys support to
