Oppo launched its latest smartphone Oppo Reno 4 Pro, successor to its previous launch Reno 3 smartphone. It comes in three color variants Starry Night, Silky White & Galactic Blue and we have an opportunity to review this device and have received Reno 4 Pro device in Galactic Blue color. So lets start, first of all when unbox it we find inside one Oppo Reno4 Pro device, one Earphones, one Type-C Charging cum Data Cable, one 65W fast charging Power Adaptor, one Sim Ejector Tool, one Transparent soft silicone Back Cover, one User Manual/ Quick Guide and one Warranty Card.
Oppo Reno 4 looks like similar to its predecessor if we talk about its looks and design but network support wise both phones are different as Reno 3 smartphone Series has network support only upto 4G network where Reno 4 Series gives you an opportunity to experience over enhanced network speed that is latest 5G network speed.
Looks - Design – Storage – OS
Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes in a slim-sleek plastic body, so if we talk about its weight Reno 4 Pro is very light. Its slim sleek light weight design with curve edged design gives it a premium looks. Price wise it’s a midrange smartphone that has 8nm Snapdragon 720G chipset support that is coupled with superfast Adreno 618GPU to provide users, flawless gaming on PUBG like games (60hz)and smooth internet surfing experience on this device. Reno 4 comes in 128GB & 256GB onboard storage options with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM (UFS 2.1). For storage expansion it supports upto Class10 External Memory and for Software support Oppo Reno runs Oppo ColorOS 7.2 based on Android v10 operating system.
It provides you 6.5” AMOLED Display with 1080x2400 pixel resultion @ 402ppi with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz Refresh Rate. It has curved Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top of its display that protects it from scratches. On front right side of top screen it has ambient light sensor & proximity sensor, in center top speaker grill and on left corner of the top of the display, it bears a Selfie Camera. Power button is given on the right and volume controls on the left side of the device. Quad Camera Setup on the back gives it a unique & premium looks. One hand operation looks easy to operate this handset. Sim card slot is given on the top side of the handset that supports two nano Sim cards including a Class-10 microSD Card. On bottom edge, it has 3.5mm jack and USB Type-C charging port including loudspeaker and Primary Mic. Battery testing – 27+ hrs. on 3G talk time Videos 19hrs approx and Net-surfing around 12 hrs. Number of useful Apps including Google Apps like File Manager, Phone Manager, Gallery, Calculator, FM Radio given pre-installed, it also includes many more apps to customize the device according to user’s choice and needs.
At last we would say that although this device doesn’t support latest Wireless Charging Feature, Telephoto Lens and it has Plastic Back Panel. Still its big smooth display, lightweight device with superfast charging and longer battery life including superb video and picture quality at affordable price makes it definite recommended device.
