Room Assistant, now in beta, adds AI chat to Nureva® Console, the device management and monitoring platform for Nureva audio systems, supporting IT teams by tapping into Nureva’s knowledge base, with plans to add room and device intelligence

Nureva Inc., an innovator in advanced audio solutions, announces Room Assistant, the first feature in its broader roadmap to bring AI-powered room intelligence to Nureva audio systems. Room Assistant brings natural language processing to Nureva Console, the device management and monitoring platform for Nureva audio systems, with an interface that helps IT teams interact with Nureva’s knowledge base through text-based chat. Teams managing Nureva devices are offered a faster, easier way to access information and get answers to product-related questions for more efficient room management.

This addition is an important step in the evolution of Nureva Console, moving it beyond cloud-based device management and monitoring to an agent-based intelligent platform for overseeing collaboration spaces. Together, Nureva Console and the Nureva App simplify the full device life cycle — from deployment and setup to daily use, remote management and ongoing support — helping IT teams deliver reliable audio experiences across meeting rooms, classrooms, training spaces and divisible rooms. Now in beta, Room Assistant draws from Nureva’s knowledge base. Further plans for Nureva Console include supporting IT teams with AI-powered room and device data, extending room intelligence into daily use and identifying any issues before they affect meetings and classes.

“IT and AV teams are under pressure to keep every collaboration space performing reliably, but traditional room-management tools often leave them to interpret data and search for answers on their own,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “Room Assistant is an important first step in bringing AI-powered room intelligence to Nureva Console, giving teams faster access to trusted knowledge today while laying the foundation for more intelligent, connected and automated experiences across Nureva Console, the Nureva App and our audio systems.”

Further information

As organizations deploy more hybrid meeting rooms and classrooms, IT teams need more than dashboards and alerts — they need faster ways to access trusted information, understand what is happening in their spaces and determine next actions. Room Assistant addresses this need through a simple text-based chat embedded within Nureva Console, serving as an intelligent companion for managing Nureva spaces. It answers product-related questions with responses grounded in trusted Nureva source content and reduces the time IT teams spend searching through documentation. It also provides a clear path to support when additional help is needed.

Over time, Room Assistant is expected to connect users more deeply with Nureva Console’s agent-based intelligence, helping teams access room insights, recommendations and next actions through a simple chat experience. Additional planned functionality includes voice-based interaction with Room Assistant, augmented room insights, intelligent optimization and automated diagnostics to help identify issues, recommend next steps and support continuous improvement across collaboration spaces.
