There are still many misunderstandings about the
New age forestry model in Uttar Pradesh but one city on the way to create
history by developing technology led forest development which boost the
employment in this tough time and create realistic assets to fight against
futuristic zoonotic disease because now it's a “New Normal” and this further
strengthen the Government voice to fulfill its target in Self Development Goals
(SDG-15) which is based on “Protect, Restore and Promote sustainable use of
terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification,
reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss”.
Public places which once remembered as fully green in the city, covered with
trees and plants, were converted into unauthorised commercial land by local
mafias which resulted in some political glitches. This sight was a turning
point in the life of IAS Satya Prakash Patel, Municipal Commissioner, and Aligarh . Strong step to
recover property belonging to the public has been taken and this step gave
wings to local people's cherished dream and he kick-started a mission to plant
saplings to make Smart City Aligarh clean, green and pollution-free.

made to maintain and keep every tree in the City Forest alive’’.
