Hearing Technologies to introduce Sound Personalization in Smart TVs in India
Compaq Televisions through a collaboration with Berlin-based, multiple
CES Innovation of the year awards winner, Mimi Hearing Technologies,
has integrated Mimi’s technology into Compaq Smart Televisions, scheduled
to launch this July. The Compaq smart TVs will be equipped
with Mimi Sound Personalization technology, that adapts the audio to
each individual’s unique hearing ability for an immersive, high-fidelity, and
intelligible TV experience.
Function - Hearing loss due to non-optimal and loud sounds
around us lead to considerable hearing loss or change in perception of
sound. Mimi through a simple hearing test captures the profile of the
user and through the in-build technology in Compaq Televisions, will be able to
deliver sound which is just right for you in any environment. This means you
hear everything clearer, crisper at low and high volumes in very high detail.

Usage - The user simply has to take a hearing test through
the Mimi Android or IOS application and load that profile on the
Compaq television through the Mimi interface and your job is done.
