Hershey India Provides Supports To Front-Line Workers With 1Mn Hershey Products, Included 500 Oxygen Concentrators And Commits $50,000 To Fight Covid

 

 

 

·        Partnered with NGOs Give India and Milaap Foundation to assist hospitals with procuring ventilators, oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders

·        Distributed 500 concentrators across the country       

·        Tied-up with India Food Banking Network to distribute fortified beverages and chocolates to frontline warriors

 

 

The second wave of the pandemic has seen a rising number of cases and shortages in medical support. To provide continued support during these difficult times, Hershey India Pvt Ltd is distributing one million Hershey products to frontline workers. The products include Hershey’s Milkshake, Hershey’s Spreads, Hershey’s Syrup and Sofit Soya Milk which will be distributed amongst healthcare workers, police forces, frontline workers and the daily-wage community.

 

 

Along with this, Hershey India is aiding the medical fraternity by providing 500 oxygen concentrators. The organization is working with NGOs such as the Hemkunt foundation, KVN foundation, Portea, GiveIndia and hospitals to deliver concentrators across the country.

 

 

Hershey India has also contributed $50,000 towards providing relief to hospitals and support the Covid warriors in India. The funds have been utilized to partner with renowned NGOs Give India and the Milaap foundation to help hospitals procure medical equipment and to support local NGOs such as Hemkunt Foundation and SaveLife Foundation.
