In celebration of the onset of the festive season, Dyson has unveiled timeless and exciting limited-edition festive colourways for the haircare technologies, exclusively for the 2021 gifting period.
Inspired by Dyson’s Automotive project, Dyson AirwrapTM styler unveiled in Prussian Blue and Rich Copper colourway
The new Prussian Blue & Rich Copper on the Dyson AirwrapTM Styler was first curated for the interiors of the Dyson Electric vehicle, where colour became a true focus for the design team, as they sought to curate a timeless and luxurious alternative to a world typically dominated by a boring blanket of black.
Although discontinued, the automotive project continues to influence the engineering of future Dyson technology, with this season’s festive Prussian Blue and Rich Copper colourway an example of the project’s influence on current Dyson design.
Curating a timeless, elegant colour palette for the car’s interior, the team sought an alternative to black. Black, while stylish, elegant and neutral, is widely overused according to James Dyson.
Dyson design engineers put great emphasis on using colour with purpose, carefully considering colour placement to highlight core technology. The rich copper accents on this new limited-edition range emphasise the core Dyson engineering within each tool.
Each Dyson Airwrap™ styler can be customised with a range of attachments to suit the users hair type, length and style and desired end look, including longer barrels for longer hair types and smaller brushes for shorter hair and fringes.
